Mission:
The KISD Transportation Department will provide safe reliable services for students, personnel, and community, while transporting Kaufman's most precious cargo, so they can receive the tools necessary for their future, utilizing a well-trained, positive staff.

Goals:
To continue providing the safest and most efficient transportation for Kaufman ISD students and personnel.
To replace all school vehicles 15 years or older with newer vehicles.
To equip all school buses with A/C.
The KISD Transportation Department is currently running 39 daily routes. The district averages 1,600 miles per day, not including the many Extra/Co-Curricular trips scheduled each week. At present, we are transporting an average of 1,900 students per day.
