ANNUAL FINANCIAL AUDIT REPORTS

Kaufman ISD's fiscal year begins on September 1st, and ends on August 31st. Each year, KISD's financial statements are audited by an independent firm. Below are the annual audit reports of those financial statements.  For additional information please visit The Texas Comptroller Website at https://comptroller.texas.gov/

FIRST REPORTS

FIRST stands for “Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas”. It is the annual rating performed by the Texas Education Agency to test the financial performance of school districts.

The system is designed to encourage Texas public schools to better manage their financial resources in order to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes. The system will also disclose the quality of local management and decision-making processes that impact the allocation of financial resources in Texas public schools.
